With a bold square design that references the brand’s 80s archive, the 1402 sunglasses from Cutler and Gross have everything you’d expect from such an iconic brand. Milled from 10mm thick acetate but with an undersized construction, this retro looking style has modern twists. Featuring vintage vertical oyster frontal pins, three compass star pins on each temple, and a visible wire core running through the newly designed minimal temples.
The 1402 is handcrafted in Cadore, Italy, by Cutler and Gross’ expert craftspeople who carefully create the frame from start to finish, whose process is so precise with such attention to detail that a single frame can take months to complete.
